About the Organisation

Think India” is an independent youth-led organization focused on fostering critical thinking, national development, and innovation among students. Students from IISc, IIMB, NIMHANS, NIFT, and NLSIU joined together to create a joint forum for the students from premier institutes of India in 2006.

Think India operates with a nation-first approach in IITs, NLUs, IIMs & NITs and aims to provide a platform for students to engage in discussions and activities related to various issues affecting the nation. We aim to create an ecosystem for the youth organizations and individuals who are working in the national interest.

About the Online Seminar

Think India Chapter NLUO is thrilled to invite you to a thought-provoking seminar on the “Role of Forensic Science Evidence in Criminal proceedings” on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Distinguished speaker, Mr. Keshav Kumar, IPS (Retd.) expert in this field, will share his invaluable insights, making this seminar an enlightening experience that fosters meaningful discussions.

Duration

The Seminar will be held on the 23rd of January 2024, starting at 3 p.m. and extending onwards.

Speaker

Mr. Keshav Kumar has been in active police service for 35 years and has specialized in the application of forensic science in criminal proceedings. He was awarded with President’s Police Medal twice in 2004 and 2012. He has also served as a consultant in the Home Department for the Government of Assam and is an expert in the fields of anti-corruption, corporate governance and wildlife crime investigation.

When Does the Online Seminar Start?

The Seminar will commence at 3 p.m. on the 23rd of January 2024.
