About the Organisation
Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, was established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014. As the 19th National Law University in India, it aims to foster excellence in legal education and train socially responsible legal professionals.
The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), established in 1969, promotes and funds social science research in India.
The Centre for International Relations and Governance (CIRG) at MNLU Nagpur is committed to research on global issues through a legal lens. It conducts studies on governance, diplomacy, human rights, and international justice while hosting seminars, workshops, and conferences.
About the Seminar/Conference
The Two-Day National Seminar on “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the Foundation of India: Constitution, Governance, and National Integration” will explore Sardar Patel’s contributions to India’s Constitution, governance, and national integration. The seminar is part of the Rashtriya Ekta Seminars, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, supported by ICSSR.

About Call for Papers
Academicians, researchers, and students are invited to submit research papers on various aspects of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contributions to India’s constitutional framework, governance, and national integration.
Selected papers will be published in a Special Volume of the MNLU Nagpur Journal “Contemporary Law Review”.
Eligibility
The seminar is open to students, academicians, and researchers interested in legal, political, and social sciences.

- Abstract Submission: Max. 300 words, with at least 5 keywords.
- Full Paper Submission: Original, unpublished research papers only. Co-authorship is allowed (max 2 authors).

- Only selected participants will be invited to submit full papers.
- Papers must be original and unpublished.
