About the Conference- National Conference Towards Inclusive Societies: An Interdisciplinary Perspective on Social Justice

The upcoming conference will delve into the socio-economic dimensions of social justice, focusing on the representation and participation of marginalized groups. Special attention will be given to exploring constitutional safeguards for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), along with assessing contemporary challenges related to the reservation policy. The event also aims to facilitate a comparative analysis of affirmative action policies, drawing insights from diverse experiences to enhance our understanding of their impact on social equity and inclusion.

Public Concerns for Governance Trust is the Knowledge partner for the conference. Established in 2002 by Shri J.F. Ribeiro, Dr R.K. Anand and late Shri B.G. Deshmukh, is a registered trust dedicated to fostering transparency, accountability, and values in governance. Through initiatives like Youth For Governance (YFG), Kuchh Aur moral values sessions for school children, Right To Information (RTI) awareness programs, and Corruption Hatayenge anti-corruption campaigns, PCGT strives to promote citizen participation, awareness, and ethical conduct in society.
