The School of Agriculture Law and Economics (SALE), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab in collaboration with the Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal is organizing a Faculty Development programme on Law and Economics from 4th-10th October. The FDP sessions will feature active interactions between participants and resource persons. Experts in Law and Economics will deliver lectures, and Research Scholars and Faculty Members can ask questions and provide comments at the end of each session.
About RGNUL
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in the State of Punjab with the key objective to evolve and impart comprehensive legal education including distance and continuing legal education at all levels to achieve excellence.
The institution’s endeavour is to serve society through reforms in legal services by way of preparing professionally competent lawyers, inquisitive researchers, able administrators, conscientious judicial officers, and above all, socially responsible citizens, who shall be whole-heartedly and continuously engaged in the process of nation building.

The School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE) is a premier academic centre established under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, with the vision to foster interdisciplinary research and education in the areas of agricultural law, economics, and policy development. The centre focuses on the study and analysis of legal and economic issues surrounding agriculture, with a special emphasis on the challenges faced by the agricultural sector in India and globally.
About Kathmandu School of Law
Kathmandu School of Law (KSL), established in 2000 AD as an affiliate of Purbanchal University, is a community based, non-profit academic institution that upholds its unrestrained commitment for a pragmatic, research based and community responsive legal education in the country. It was conceptualized within the ambit of a non profit movement dedicated to serve the need of an academically sound and functionally feasible legal education in Nepal.
